Privacy Policy

This policy explains what 5DollarFootballAPI collects and why. We keep it minimal.

What we collect

  • Account data: your name and email, to create and secure your account.
  • API usage: aggregate request counts per key, to power your dashboard and enforce quotas.
  • Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment and holds your card details — we never see or store them. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and your invoices, so we know which plan your account is on.
  • Site analytics: page paths, referral domain, campaign tags, country and broad device type, tied to a random browser identifier. If you sign in, we connect that journey to your account so we can understand which pages and sources lead to signup and purchase. We do not store your IP address, full browser fingerprint, or arbitrary URL query strings in this dataset.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. We don't log the contents of the sports data you request against your identity beyond aggregate counts.

Cookies

Public marketing and documentation pages are served without cookies. We use browser local and session storage for random analytics identifiers; clearing site data resets them. A session cookie is set only inside the signed-in dashboard, to keep you logged in.

Your choices

You can delete your account (and its keys and usage records) at any time. Deletion removes the account association from analytics records; page journeys are retained for no more than 400 days. Cancel a subscription from your dashboard; billing records we are required to keep for accounting outlive the account itself.
